Director/Senior Building Surveyor
John set up O’Reilly Chartered Surveyors in 2007. John currently carries out Building Survey Reports, Technical Due Diligence Reports, Minimum rental standards surveys, reports and refurbishment specifications. Project management of refurbishment works, boundary checks and Land Registry compliant mapping.
Colm Lennon BSc MSCSI MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor
Senior Building Surveyor
Colm has extensive experience in the production of building survey and Technical Due Diligence Reports, Project management of building works, Designing, Supervising and Project Managing large and small building projects including, commercial new builds, extensions and refurbishments with both public and private sector clients.
Colm is also experienced in preparing Fire Safety Certificate Applications and Disability Access Certificates Applications for commercial properties.
Niall McHugh BSc Building Surveying
Registered Building Surveyor
Since joining the company in 2019, Niall has experience in providing Building Survey Reports/ Technical Due Diligence Surveys and stock condition surveys. He has been involved with Approved Housing Bodies and Local Authorities in preparing Building Surveys in the acquisition of social housing, project management of refurbishment works.
Niall also has experience in preparation of planning applications, Fire Safety Certificate applications, Boundary Checks, Land Registry compliant mapping and Defects Analysis.
Niall is currently enrolled in the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) process and is working towards obtaining his chartered accreditation.
Simon Gartell BSc Building Surveying
Simon joined O’Reilly Chartered surveyors in 2021 after completing his degree in Dundalk Institute of technology. Simon has been involved in surveying and inspection of works to housing units to achieve the required Minimal Rental Standards.
Simon has carried out stock condition surveys to social housing units. He has been involved with numerous Approved Housing Bodies in preparing Building Surveys in the acquisition of social housing. Simon also has experience in preparing Certificates of Compliance with Planning and Building Regulations, Boundary Checks, Land Registry compliant mapping on both commercial and residential properties.
Simon is currently enrolled in the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) process and is working towards obtaining his chartered accreditation.
Evan Malone BSc Building Surveying
Evan joined O’Reilly Chartered surveyors in 2024. Evan has experience in providing Fire safety Audits, Snag Lists, and stock condition surveys. He has been involved with numerous Approved Housing Bodies and Local Authorities in preparing Stock Condition Surveys.
Evan also has experience in preparation of planning applications, Fire Safety Certificate applications, Boundary Checks, Land Registry compliant mapping and Defects Analysis.
Evan is currently enrolled in the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) process and is working towards obtaining his chartered accreditation.
